I work...
Hello, my name is Ross Conkey. I've been writing screenplays for over twelve years. I dabble in practically every genre, but usually with a sense of whimsy. My latest, The Man in the Black Suit, was a Nicholl Fellowship quarterfinalist.
In 2008, I launched Squirrelevant - an online store for my t-shirt designs centered around my love of the Portland Trailblazers.
I've also been a web writer, a graphic designer, had multiple positions in the videogame industry, and (like most people) had my stint in piracy retail.
Nothing, however, is as satisfying as creating, and that's what I do.
I live...
I was born in Eugene, Oregon. I’ve lived all over the world. I’m adaptable, persevering, and honestly laid back. I currently live in Redlands, California (”Down the San Ber’dino freeway”).
I am very happily married to Joanna, who somehow is able to make me look both refined and classy, while still feeding my nature of goofdom (like a 1930’s screwball comedy actor).
